18 Feb 2010 - SAES Workshop: Driving Cultural Change in Your Organisation
The Public Sector Performance Commission (PSPC) and Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) are holding an exclusive workshop for SAES members on “Driving Cultural Change in Your Organisation”. This workshop will be held on Thursday 18 February and follows on from the PSPC/ANZSOG seminar on “Transforming Organisational Culture”.
Presenter Linda Chaousis, from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), will explore how individuals can contribute to changes in organisational culture indivdually and through their teams.

2 Dec 2009 - Influencing the National Agenda - Interacting with the Commonwealth
The Public Sector Performance Commission presents a special event for SA Executive Service members in partnership with IPAA:
An Address by the Premier, the Hon Mike Rann, MP.
Followed by a panel discussion on: “Influencing the National Agenda - Interacting with the Commonwealth”.
The panel will be chaired by Professor Jennifer Westacott, senior partner of KPMG and Chair of the Public Sector Performance Commission Advisory Board and speakers will include:
- Mr Chris Eccles, Chief Executive Department of the Premier and Cabinet
- Mr Chris Robinson, Chief Executive of the Department of Education and Children’s Services
- Dr Paul Grimes, Associate Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.

30 Nov to 4 Dec 2009 - SAES Induction
The inaugural SAES Induction program is an initiative of the Public Sector Performance Commission, to ensure that high performance is at the forefront of what we do in the South Australian public sector.
This five-day program gives relatively new SAES executives, the essential information they need to operate effectively at the SAES 1 level.
The program will include guidance and information on how to successfully navigate through some of the more challenging aspects of the executive level, such as:
PSPC/ANZSOG Seminar - The Buck Stops Here: Accountability in Government
The Public Sector Performance Commission is pleased to announce the third seminar in its ‘Challenging the Public Sector’ program of public sector development in collaboration with the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG).
All public sector staff are invited to attend this free seminar and networking lunch on 22 October 2009.

Podcasts - Governing and Managing in Times of Crisis
ANZSOG’s 2009 annual conference, held on the 3rd and 4th of September, explored the issue of governing and managing in times of crisis. It brought together public sector leaders and distinguished scholars and offers delegates a rich array of opportunities for discussion and reflection.
Podcasts and presentation slides from the conference are available for download form the ANZSOG website, and feature a variety of academics, professionals, and politicians.
