PSPC Partnership with ANZSOG: Challenging the Public Sector
The Public Sector Performance Commission is pleased to announce the launch of its collaborative program of public sector development with the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG).
The program will promote the development of public sector employees by giving them access to leading thinkers and the latest global research and practice in public administration. It will include workshops targeted at public sector leaders.
All public sector staff are invited to a free seminar on 16 July 2009 on The Future of Government to launch the program.

Nominations are currently being sought for SAES members to participate in the Executive Fellows and Towards Strategic Leadership Programs offered by the Australia New Zealand School of Government. These programs offer an excellent development opportunity for SAES members looking to reinforce the quality of their leadership.
12 Jun 2009 - IPAA Economic Outlook Lunch
The global financial crisis has pushed Australia into an economic downturn whose proportions are still becoming clear. Held for the past 3 years, the Economic Outlook lunch has built a reputation as the premier opportunity to hear expert opinion on the status and forecast of international and local economies.
Following the delivery of the State budget on June 4, IPAA will be hosting a lunch featuring the South Australian Treasurer The Hon. Kevin Foley, who will provide the governments outlook on the state’s economic future.
Policy Catalyst Survey
Chris Eccles, Chief Executive of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet recently sent out an email to SAES members regarding an ideas generation process to inform medium term government policy development.
This 'policy catalyst' process will provide an opportunity for you, the executive members of the public sector, to feed ideas directly into policy making and delivery at the highest levels.
