ANZSOG Toward Strategic Leadership Program 2012

Call for nominations 

Applications are now open for the Australia and New Zealand School of Government's (ANZSOG) Towards Strategic Leadership Program 2012.

The program is designed for public sector employees who are transitioning into executive leadership roles. Conducted over two separate residential sessions, the program aims to help particpants grow as strategic leaders, and provides insight into the challenges of managing complexity, interdependence, crisis, and change.

ANSZOG Fellowship Participants Announced

Five high performing senior executives from the South Australian Public Sector have been awarded scholarships to the Executive Fellows Program run by the Australian and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG).

This is an outstanding opportunity for South Australia's leading public sector executives to engage with global best practice in public sector management.

6 March 2012 - A focus on customer and citizen participation and partnerships

In his 2011 Don Dunstan oration, Premier Weatherill declared that a way must be found to reconnect with our citizens, to restore them to their rightful place at the centre of everything we do, and that outstanding customer service is not a one size fits all model, but rather a model oriented to the particular needs of the citizens being served.

ANZSOG Executive Fellows Program

The Chief Executive, Department of the Premier and Cabinet has written to all Chief Executives seeking nominations to ANZSOG's Executive Fellows Program. Copies of this correspondence have also been sent to Human Resource Directors.

The EFP Program Brochure and the Application Form is attached.  Nominating agencies are required to fully support and finance participants of the programs.

Updated SAES Competency Framework document

An updated SAES Competency Framework document has been developed and is now available for download. This new document improves upon the readability of the original document and presents the behaviour profiles for the competencies in a more accessible format.

Please note: the competencies have not changed, this update only aims to make the competency framework document more usable.
